it certainly has been a while now
slowly getting used to not having you around
i wonder how much longer i should wait
before i'll be able to talk to you and see you again
each day just seems to drag on
nothing new, exciting or interesting is happening
another ordinary day for this life routine
i'd let life run it's course only to suddenly be surprised
feelings change just like people do
things happen for a reason is what they all say
i'd get some rest and just let things be
and maybe i'd be able to sleep well tonight
