polka dots everywhere and fruits of one shape
i've got coins in both pockets and the champagne's ready
we're outside watching some early fireworks
while the tv's switched on as we await for the countdown
we slowly start counting down from ten
then here it is, the clock strikes midnight
we scream, shout and then give each other a hug
and as we watch the fireworks display in awe,
i'm glad to have welcomed the new year with you
